T-34/85 by the firm AER Moldova. This was a hand-me-down, and upon opening the box I was slightly nauseated by the lavender colored styrene. However, it did have link and length styrene tracks which made up for lack of accuracy in other places. Fit was good and it went together fast. I drilled out the wheels and fabricated a better gun barrel from sprue. I was going for the Berlin street fighting very late war vibe so I added "bedspring armor" made from altered 1/200 brass ship railing and wedding tulle mesh. Why not add additional salvaged schurtzen plate from a Panzer IV as this crew did not want to become panzerfaust fodder? These additions took much longer to make than the kit itself. Decals came with the kit and they are good and abundant. I had a field day weathering it and wanted the look of a tank just emerging from an intense battle.

A cheap, not great kit but easy to build and I think with some imaginative add-ons captures the essence of the beast.
